How orgs get verified on Vonnect
We verify every organization on the platform so students and schools can trust who they're working with. Here's how our four-tier system works.
New accounts. Can post listings but hours they issue are flagged as unverified on student records.

Identity confirmed. Org name and contact details have been reviewed by the Vonnect team.
- Org name + website submitted

Registered non-profit or government body. Charity number or equivalent confirmed.
- Registered charity number
- Articles of incorporation or equivalent
- Active operational history
Our highest badge. Hours issued by Trusted orgs are fully verified on student records — no flag.
- All Tier 2 requirements
- Minimum 3 months on platform
- Strong student feedback
- No policy violations
Hours from Trusted orgs (Tier 3) appear as fully verified on a student's Cumulative Community Record, accepted by schools and post-secondary institutions.
If an org hasn't reached Tier 3, hours issued are clearly marked "Unverified" on the student's hours page until the org is promoted.
Listings from unverified orgs are ranked lower in search results, and students can filter by verification tier before signing up.
